About Us

"Live bigger than the sum of your parts."

Origins Health stands in a space where modern medicine meets ancient insight. We honor what science has taught us about pathology and physiology and we honor what Ayurveda has taught us about humanness—constant adaptation, innate intelligence and the interplay between body, mind and environment.

The Three Layers of Health

In the Ayurvedic tradition, true wellness encompasses layers of health.
Our work is designed to meet you, and guide you through each layer.

The Physical

As the word function implies, this has to do with how the body works. But it’s more than the function of each part; it’s how the parts are related and how they work together.  From the functional perspective, health challenges are seen as a breakdown in the way the parts are cooperating.

The Subtle

Emotions are the body’s way of communicating with the conscious mind. The way we perceive life’s experiences determines in large part how we feel. And how we feel creates physical changes, for better or for worse. Changing your perception can change your emotions and your life.

The Causal

Spiritual health is a dynamic state of being. It can also be described as a sense of purpose, peace, and comfort, even in difficult times. The three pillars of spiritual well-being—relationships, values, and a meaningful purpose in life—are interwoven throughout your world.
